It is a know fact that generally men don’t like jewelries. Though times have changed, some are into it now. I still know some men who are now married that don’t want to wear any jewelries except of course watches. I am  fortunate that my man agreed to wear a wedding ring and is still wearing it to this date. I can understand some who choose not to wear it. But there are plenty of mens wedding bands out there where one can customize it, or make it as simple as possible. A wide variety of styles, materials and also some are affordable.

Yes we have been away for a week or so that is why I haven’t written anything here while we were away. It was a holiday we have been thinking of doing for a long time and it finally happened. Seaworld was our first destination as we want our little man to see sea creatures. The moment we entered the park, he was just ecstatic, wanting photos with the seal, dolphins and was just running here and there. He can’t contain his excitement at all, oh well you can’t expect that from a 2-year old boy, can you?

We were able to see, sharks, sting rays, polar bears in the underwater chamber. But the most exciting part of it all was watching the dolphin show. They are just adorable and intelligent. I can just imagine the bond they have with their trainors is just wonderful.

The other thing we went on with our little man is the Sky fortress which is like a safe maze-climb to the top. It was difficult as the passage to get through were so small, and that I could hardly go through it and my son just passed through them like a wind. Oh well, things you have to do to keep a child happy.

The castaway island is just next to the Sky fortress. It has got boats that goes through a track which makes you an easy target for people to shoot water at you, of course you can shoot them back. It was fun but you can get really wet. Luckily, my husband went there to accompany my son and they had a blast. Even the adult had fun shooting water on each other which just makes you laugh looking at them having a great time at the same time being soaked.

Seaworld is truly a place where everybody can be a child once again. Forget all the troubles in the world and just have pure fun.

All of us wants a bright future. But before that you have to study hard and finish school ( preferrably with flying colors ) and land a job you have been wanting to have. There are so many other people who are also looking for one. That’s why I mentioned graduate with flying colors as it is an edge in getting hired first when applying for one. Finding a job online is very popular these days and there are many companies out there, like forever 21 jobs, using the internet to look for potential candidates for certain jobs. In that way their range is wider and they can really get the best people for the position they are hiring.

If there is one thing I regretted not doing is learning how to play guitar or piano. How I wish I was eager enough to learn when I was young. My cousin was willing to teach me, but I found it too difficult. Oh well, everything is not easy for the first time isn’t it? How wonderful it would be if I can just sit on the veranda and play guitar while my son is asleep. As a music lover, I just now settle myself to listening to the radio while doing housechores. Still I am still hopeful that I will learn to play guitar one day, and hoping to get the quality guitar there is. Or atleast get the Martin guitar strings for it. Go for quality as they last long.

In this day and age we are fitter and living longer. But this has a adverse affect and can causes some problems to take care of our aging population. We need to find better and effective ways to make there life more comfortable.  One of the most important times is bedtime.  To have a mattress that can retain its shape can only be a good thing and can help with the neck and shoulders.  So when memory foam toppers came along it seems to be the answer to help people have a better quality of life.

With more and more pressure on us everyday to get jobs done either at home or in employment, we just get stuck in. But unfortunately most of us have been told to look after our backs. There is a huge number of us with back problems. Speaking from experience surgery on the back is a major event and takes a lot of time, effort pain and being uncomfortable for a lot of time. So when when spinal laser surgery came along I wish it was available to me. With one tiny incision a multitude of problematic pains can start to be eliminate one 30-minute procedure. I appreciated them more now after I was in hospital, giving birth to my son, I was really treated well by the medical professionals that were around me. In everyone of us we live life to a rhythm, a beat, just like our heartbeat that rings throughout our bodies.  So with this rhythm music is huge to many of us. My sister enrolled herself in yoga class one time and she said she enjoys it so much. It gives you a soothing feeling as it targets physical, mental, and spiritual discipline. I don’t know if my sister already has a mexican blanket to use for her yoga session but that might be a good mother’s day present for her this year. Mexican blankets are vibrant in color so I think she will love to have one.

Niche blogging becomes the trend in the world of blogging. When we say niche blog, we mean creating a specific genre such as food, fashion, travel etc. and content of your post concentrates on that particular category. Niche blog in a way,  is more systematic and more organize as your content more focuses on the type of blog you intend to create. More and more bloggers follow this trend and personally I think it’s interesting and will try to do just the same.

Mothers do have the best but difficult job in the world. Looking after the family and the household is not easy. Having a time for yourself and to socialize is very important for all mothers out there. I was lucky that I found some good friends here that I could talk to.

Last night was one of the best nights as I got to go out for a dinner with my friends at an Indian restaurant. There were only 10 mothers out of 30 who came, and I think the number was just right, as we were able to talk to each other without having to move from one place to another to chat. The food was also delicious and everybody enjoyed it.

I am looking forward to our next gathering and catching up without our lovely little ones pulling us to different directions.

Warragamba dam is the primary source of water in Sydney. It is located in the western part of Sydney. My husband and I together with our little one went there in 2010 to see where our water comes from. It was my first time to see a big water reservoir and oh boy it was huge. The water level was a bit low and I remembered we were told to save water and on some days there were water restrictions. But due to heavy rainfall in New South Wales recently, it reached its full storage capacity. It was quite an event as crowd of people went there yesterday, including us, to see the water flowing out of the catchment over the wall of the dam. We had to walk a few meters from where we parked as people and cars were queued up to the viewing platform. The showers/rain didn’t help at all. Some people further down the river were evacuated due to rising water levels. And so we are all looking forward to the rain clearing and warm sunny days.

I would like to say thank you to my big sister Claire for helping me with this blog. I have tried my very best to sort things on my own but it’s just too technical for me. Even though she herself had troubles dealing with the changes, she came out successful and now knowledgeable with bloggin technicalities. Once again sister, thank you and you know I love you always and forever!

We have been back from our nice holiday for a couple of weeks now, and I am missing the nice warm weather we enjoyed for 3-long weeks. Here in Sydney, summer is non-existent this year. It has been raining and plenty of areas now are flooded. We are lucky we were able to do some gardening this morning as the forecast of horrible weather didn’t happen. Still we are hoping for some sunshine in the days to come and be able to enjoy the remaining days of summer.

For most of us there is nothing better than getting out into the garden. Its a great way to relax, get some fresh air and exercise. Every gardener knows the benefit of composting.
